Core Requirements of Ordinance 140/2022:
In March 2022, INMETRO issued Ordinance No. 140 (Port.:Portaria n° 140/2022), later supplemented and refined by Ordinance No. 515/2023 (Port.:Portaria n° 515/2023). According to the regulations, the following four major categories of PV energy storage products must obtain mandatory INMETRO certification:
